Many organisations are deploying IoT devices and sensors to their premises, machinery, other infrastructure, and beyond in the broader environment. This expansion in use also expands the attack surface that cybercriminals can probe for weaknesses and attack.
In partnership with the Ponemon Institute, Microsoft surveyed organisations that had adopted IoT to determine any concerns they had. Security was top (65%), but many other factors were also a concern — a summary of the findings is available on the Microsoft blog below.
