PFH Technologies are currently recruiting for a Level 3 system administrator to join their team and work for their client based in Penrose Quay, Cork.
- Hybrid role
- Permanent Contract
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team and my client is looking for a strong 'technical all-rounder'.
As the Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for providing systems support and Ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all IT Systems.
The Role:
- Maintenance and support of Windows server systems, backups storage and Local Area Network technologies.
- Maintenance and support of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory
- Maintenance and support of client hardware, including roll-out of new clients, upgrades and hardware repairs including network printers.
- Ensure all IT security policies of the company are implemented and adhered to at all times.
- Review and updating of all IT process documentation.
- Maintenance of database software.
- Perform system backups.
- Gathering requirements and translating business needs into business solutions including technical recommendations
- Being a key contact on site for all IT related queries

The requirements:
- To be considered for the Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer role you will need the following skill-set:
- Windows 10
- Storage
- Oracle
- SAN
- Server 2008 / 2012
- Exchange 2010 / 2013
- VMware
- Active Directory
- Networking
- Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science.
- Excellent proven background in Systems Admin (4 years +)
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
