Solutions Architect

PFH Technology Group is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect

6-month Daily Rate contract

Remote - open to any location in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Working with Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Services to architect and deliver leading edge cloud solutions.
• Design cross platform / hybrid solutions to the highest standards using the best technological fit for the requirements.
• Assist with managing full stack development in the cloud and the adherence to clean coding standards with a test driven mind-set.
• Assist in the day to day running of cloud development teams using Agile (Scrum)
• Engage stakeholders to identify specific requirements and bottlenecks, solve problems.
• Encourage the use of SOLID design principles, low coupling, high cohesion, and functional decomposition and refactoring.
• Work with interfacing applications teams to define the integration specifications and deliver integration projects.
• Work with the internal TechOps team to commission cloud infrastructure as part of the solution architecture.
• Lead by doing and show by example approach to managing highly skilled technical teams.
• Assist with the adoption of agile practices and in helping the department mature its development processes and delivery models.

Relevant Experience

• Certifications in Microsoft appropriate technologies
• 5+ Years' experience in Software Development role (C#, .Net)
• 5+ Years' experience with data driven web applications end experience of SQL Server, Azure SQL or equivalent modern relational databases.
• 2+ Year solution architecture and technical design experience of hybrid on-prem and Azure Cloud platform applications.
• 3rd level degree or equivalent in a computer science or engineering related discipline.
• Experience in Token-based Authentication, Microsoft Identity and Access Management products including Azure AD.
• Experience of using Azure DevOps and associated toolsets.
• Leading architecture using modern software engineering and product development tool and processes including Agile (Scrum), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience of Healthcare messaging protocols and interoperability standards HL7 / XML / FHIR / JSON.
• Experience designing and developing web applications using AngularJS, HTML, Web API 2, Azure application services.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools,
• Experience of ARM templates, deployment automation and PowerShell scripts within IaC environments.
• Experience as a Scrum Master and running scrum teams.
